Find a pool of sill lava test to see how deep it is by placing gravel in it once you figure out tis once you figure out its  depth , wall off a small portlcn and  then  pour water so top of  the still lava use a diamond picveaxe  to harvest each same block use crouch to get close to the edge and catch it befor it burns.
